| Our Lady and St Edward's Pre-School have 30 children on roll. The group opens on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and Friday afternoon during school term time. Sessions are from 9.30 to 12.00 and 13.15 to 15.45 |

| They provide a broad range of interesting activities at each session which include use of an outdoor area and good quality toys and equipment. The curriculum is planned to support each individual child's needs, developing at their own pace as well as covering all six areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. |
| The management is committed to the continuous improvement of the nursery and actively encourages staff and parents to be involved in the development of the high quality provision. |
| Partnership with parents is valued. Parents have many opportunities to share information about how their children are progressing. Staff have a clear understanding of the foundation stage and use this information to provide a range of structured activities. Staff work as a team and follow procedures to ensure that children are safe and happy in their care. |
