Singing the Mass
Guidelines from the Bishop's Conference summarising the General Instruction on the Roman Missal

Why go to Mass? Answers can be found in the changes put forward by Vatican II when it corrected an imbalance which had crept in, partly as an over-response to heresies, over the centuries. Going to Mass is not paying your heavenly insurance policy! Some of the most important reasons to go have been described in an expanded first page on the liturgy, (The list of parish services. The liturgy section now has three pages, the second and third illustrating the Children's Liturgy).
