The Church's year with the Children

Harvest Festival October 2005

	The children brought gifts which they placed on the communion rails and the altar steps and baskets of fruit were placed in front of the altar.

Looking back through 2005 - and earlier

"All out of darkness we have light..."

The theme remained light throughout January, especially for the children in Year 2 who were preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and later for their First Communions. They began by lighting their candles - some were their baptismal candles - and they were presented with their study books the following week by Fr Pat and Peter at the 10.30 Mass.

The children gathered at the door of the church, some in their Communion dresses. They carried flowers to place around Our Lady's statue, to celebrate the month of the Rosary and the 50th Anniversary of the building of this church.
