Looking back through 2005 - and earlier
| "All
out of darkness we have light..." The theme remained light throughout January, especially for the children in Year 2 who were preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and later for their First Communions. They began by lighting their candles - some were their baptismal candles - and they were presented with their study books the following week by Fr Pat and Peter at the 10.30 Mass. |

Jesus summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs... And he instructed them to take nothing for the journey except a staff- no bread, no haversack, no coppers for their purses. They were to wear sandals, but, he added, "Do not take a spare tunic..."
...so they set off to preach repentance and anointed many sick people with oil and cured them.
